【ミャンマーと日本】
先日、ミャンマーの方と話をする機会をいただきました。
ヤンゴンのような都市部ではなく、数十名単位の集落が30個ほど点在する地域。過去、イギリス・中国・タイなどの支配下にもあり、言語も多様で近い民族同士ではあるが、それなりに複雑なつながりとのこと。
そうした地域でもスマートフォンは普及していて、異文化の情報は入ってくる。
教育が不十分な状態で情報が入ってくると簡単に影響を受けてしまう。特に、ゲームなどのネガティブな影響は大きい様子。
このままではよくないとの危機感から、教育に力を入れようとされておられます。
物流、ネット回線などのインフラも脆弱な状況だったり、課題は多い。
今の自分になにができるかわからないけど、まずはこうしたことを知ることから始める。

The other day, I got the opportunity to talk with the people of Myanmar.
It is not an urban area like Yangon, but an area where about 30 villages of dozens of people are dotted. In the past, under the rule of Britain · China · Thailand etc etc, languages are diverse and close to each other, but it is somewhat complicated connection.
Even in these areas, smartphones are spreading and information from different cultures comes in.
When information comes in with inadequate education it is easily affected. Especially, the negative influence of games and the like seems to be big.
From the sense of crisis that it is not good as it is, it is trying to focus on education.
Infrastructure such as logistics and net line is also vulnerable, there are many problems.
I do not know what I can do for myself, but first I start with knowing these things.
